CNE (Canadian National Exhibition, also known as The Ex) is an annual event that takes place at Exhibition Place in Toronto during the 18 days leading up to and including Canadian Labour Day
I don’t know what it is about the CNE that gets me so excited each year? Maybe it’s because I worked there when I was in high school and fell in love with all the noise and action, the international music, the performances, the games or just seeing families coming from all over for a good time with their kids? All I know is I love my annual visit to the Ex!
I had made it a personal annual tradition that I continued with John and now with Heston’s first visit, will be a family annual tradition.
We didn’t get to experience it how I usually like to – literally go to every building and walk around – and sample the jams hehe… but we were able to do my favourite – eat!
I wasn’t able to take all the photos of the food, but did manage to take a few of the grounds. I did however include a list of my favourite eats at the EX.
Here’s the list of my favourite foods at the EX.. wish I had some right now! It’s my must have list of those I go to every visit and ones I really love and recommend
Must-haves:
- steak and cheese factory
- dutch frites
- tiny tom donuts
- Terry’s Old Fashioned Lemonade
