Hi everyone,
Hope you enjoy using this meatball recipe. It’s super easy to follow and packed with flavour. (Note: I used 2 pounds of meat, so that we could have left overs.)
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 cup onion, finely chopped
- ½ cup dried bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. garlic cloves, minced
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup parmesan cheese, finely grated
- 6 Tbsp. ketchup
- ½ Tbsp. red chilly flakes (gives a little kick, you can always add more/less)
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. parsley dried
- 1 Tbsp. thyme dried
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400ºF. Place a large parchment paper on the tray.
- Slightly break apart the ground beef in a large bowl (don’t over mix).
- Combine everything together onion, bread crumbs, garlic, egg, cheese, ketchup, chilly flakes, salt, pepper, parsley and thyme.
- Form into 1.5-inch balls and place on parchment paper.
- Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until meatballs are browned and cooked through.
It should yield roughly 35-40 1.5-inch meatballs.
Enjoy!
