Heston turns 1

We celebrated Heston’s 1st birthday with an Escape-of-animals-in-Hawaii themed party with our close friends and family.

I had a lot of fun creating this theme, and it all started from my love of tropics and wild animals and trying to figure out which one I should choose. So I asked myself, why not both? That’s the amalgamation you see.

I usually get asked about recipes and tutorials, so here are all the links of everything from the party below.

How can I even put into words how much Heston has brightened our life?!  We just celebrated his first birthday and to think of the changes he has gone through and the little person he has become is simply remarkable. He just gets cuter by the minute and each day more and more of his personality comes through.  His chill nature, his infectious laugh, his goofy smile (now with goofy teeth!)…. he brings a smile to everyone he meets. It’s crazy to think that a year ago he wasn’t here and now we can’t imagine life without him.  He continuously fills our heart with joy and every single leap in development amazes us. Heston you are taking steps now, soon to be walking all over the place making us chase you like the little joker you are. Just promise us you won’t grow up too fast. We love you so much Heston. xoxo

Here’s everything you need to recreate the look. If you have any questions, please send me a shout below or message me on @farah.manley
